Attorney Patrick E. Morgan began practicing law in August 2008 as a contract employee with Ellis & Winters, LLC in Raleigh. In January 2009, Mr. Morgan began his own practice handling criminal and traffic cases. In August of that year, Mr. Morgan settled into his current office at 209 Lloyd Street in Carrboro.  Since that time, Mr. Morgan has continued to build his practice, focusing on criminal, traffic and family law in Durham, Orange and Chatham counties.

Mr. Morgan currently attends court in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Durham, Pittsboro, and Siler City. He handles all types of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to felonies, as well as DWIs and traffic tickets. He has special training in defending DWI cases. He also handles family matters such as separation, divorce, child custody and support, and name changes. Mr. Morgan is fluent in Spanish, and proudly works to serve the legal needs of the Hispanic community, as well as those of the English-speaking community. In addition, Mr. Morgan takes court-appointed cases in Orange and Chatham counties, where he proudly and vigorously represents people who cannot afford a private attorney. In his free time, Mr. Morgan enjoys spending time with his three children, hiking, camping, grilling out, and listening to music. An avid sports fan, Mr. Morgan roots for the Tar Heels and other ACC teams in basketball, football, soccer and other collegiate sports. Mr. Morgan is a member of the United Church of Christ of Chapel Hill, and is devoted to seeking justice and equality for all.
